When you visit this website or book a call, the following data may be processed:

- information entered in the booking form;
- meeting, cancellation and rescheduling information;
- information contained in emails or other communications sent to us.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Personal data is processed to:
- operate and secure the website, based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional service;
- respond to enquiries and arrange an introductory call, in order to take steps at your request before entering into a possible contract;
- create calendar invitations and provide the video-call link, in order to take steps at your request before entering into a possible contract;
- comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims, where necessary.
We do not use personal data collected through the website for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Third-party services embedded in this website
Booking service
The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, Inc.
When you use the embedded calendar, Cal.com processes booking and technical data on our behalf. This may include your name, email address, time zone, selected meeting time, IP address, browser information and any information entered in the booking form.
Calendar invitations and video calls may be provided through Google Calendar and Google Meet. The information necessary to create and manage the meeting may therefore be transmitted to Google.
Embedded videos
Some pages embed videos hosted on YouTube, a service provided by Google. The videos are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and are loaded only when they come into view while you scroll.
When a video player is loaded, Google receives your IP address and browser information. According to Google, in privacy-enhanced mode viewing information is not used to personalise the browsing experience unless you actually play a video.
Fonts
This website loads its typeface from Google Fonts. When a page is opened, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google in order to deliver the font files.
5. Recipients
Personal data may be accessed by:
- website hosting and technical service providers;
- Cal.com, as the booking-service provider;
- Google, when Google Calendar, Google Meet, an embedded YouTube video or Google Fonts is used;
- professional advisers or public authorities where disclosure is required by law or necessary for the protection of legal rights.
scalenow.it does not sell personal data or disclose it for third-party advertising.
6. International transfers
Some service providers, including Cal.com and Google, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
Where required, these transfers are carried out under the safeguards provided by Chapter V of the GDPR, including an applicable adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention
Booking and enquiry data that does not result in a professional relationship is retained for no longer than 12 months after the last interaction and is then deleted or anonymised.
If a professional relationship begins, the relevant data may be retained for the duration of that relationship and for any additional period required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Technical data is retained only for the period necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
scalenow.it does not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies.
The embedded Cal.com booking service may use technical cookies or similar technologies required for security, time-zone selection, preferences and operation of the booking service.
Embedded videos are served in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which limits what is stored on your device. If you play a video, Google may set cookies or similar technologies.
These technologies are not used by scalenow.it for advertising or profiling.
If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced in the future, they will not be activated before the required information and consent mechanism have been implemented.
